Small Groups at Pointe North

The book of Acts repeatedly refers to teaching in public settings as well as house to house. Considering that the early church worshipped in large settings in the synagogues, as well as in homes, we unite together similarly in order to be in deeper fellowship with God and one another. Small Groups are an essential part of our church, as they provide a place where deeper fellowship and better support for one another can take place. God has reconciled us not only to Himself but also to each other. This "each other" is called His Church. Thus, we intentionally strive toward community through Bible study groups, home gatherings, and other personal settings.

Get Connected in Community

Life is not meant to be lived alone. In fact, God exists in community. You were created to experience life with other people, which is why we encourage you to get into a small group.

A small group is a group of three or more people who gather each week in a home, a setting in the church building, or workplace. In a group, you’ll hang out, maybe eat, study the Word, and pray together.

Our group leaders work to accomplish three critical things:

1. Be relational through:

  • Fellowship
  • Biblical content that fosters spiritual growth
  • Accountability and care

2. Diversity by offering:

  • Multiple days and times
  • Multiple areas and locations
  • Multiple stages and ages of life

3. Multiplication using the following guidelines:

  • All groups are open to new guests
  • Groups grow spiritually and numerically
  • Once a group reaches 12 people, the co-leader will form a new group
