Food Pantry

Imagine the joy of being able to give someone that has not eaten in days a box of food – that’s what our Food Pantry team members get to do. And it is so much more than simply handing someone a box of food. This team is committed to chatting with and praying with every individual that requests assistance.

Individuals in need of food are ministered to through the Food Pantry ministry every Wednesday morning and the second Saturday of each month. The need is so great. Approximately 70% of all children in Berkeley Schools are on free and reduced lunches. Almost 20% of all individuals in Berkeley County live at or below the Federal poverty level. The statistics go on. Behind every statistic is an individual that is hungry, a mom that can’t feed her children, and an elderly person that has to choose between their medicine and food.
